Sculptra

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable dermal filler that works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful- looking appearance. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra® uses poly-L-lactic acid to help stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging. Sculptra® achieves subtle, natural-looking results over time as the body replaces collagen that has been lost and is best suited for clients that struggle with significant volume loss in the temples, cheeks, and fine lines around the mouth. Clients will undergo a series of injections over the course of several months. Sculptra® Aesthetics typically shows results that last for at least 2 years.

Typically, a full Sculptra® treatment takes about three different sessions of injections, spaced about a month apart. The full effects gradually become visible after a few weeks and can last for as long as two years. Swelling, bruising, and other side effects are usually mild and subside within a few days. Clients are able to return to their normal activities following each treatment.
